UniLodge Metro Adelaide is student accommodation, so residents need to be studying. UniLodge does house non-students at selected properties — see the Non-Students page for the list.

No. There are no application fees.

Yes. To secure an apartment, the tenant is required to pay up to two weeks' rent in advance, plus the cost of a mattress protector and shower curtain (where applicable). A bond is also required: Four weeks' rent for one-bedroom apartments with rent up to $800 per week Two weeks' rent shared apartments.  The bond will be lodged and held with Consumer and Business Services (CBS).

A booking can be cancelled prior to signing the lease agreement, however, the deposit fee is not refundable.

Upon departure, your apartment is required to be returned to the same or better good and clean condition. If it is not, you will be require to pay a departure cleaning fee which is dependent  on the condition of the room and size of apartment.

Yes, these are charged at $20 per bed.

If you were not successful in receiving a visa to study in Australia before the commencement of your lease start date, we ask that you write an email requesting cancellation, which must be submitted to the property at which your booking is held within 24 hours of you receiving notification from the Department of Home Affairs, along with the email from the Department of Home Affairs advising your refusal notice to study in Australia. You will then be formally advised that your lease agreement will then be cancelled without penalty. For full terms and conditions please view here.

No Visa No Pay – Amend arrival date or return of deposit for any Visa Cancellations or decline of Visa Grant after a booking is made. Change of mind - Deposit is non-refundable.
